Serendipity!

An artistic mind doesn't always reside in the person you think it does and spiritual teaching doesn't necessarily happen when you expect!

I woke up today with a simple goal - go with a plumber to fix a loo. He drove by, picked me up and we started talking about camping with our kids, etc. Arriving at our goal he went in and did his job fairly quickly.

On the drive back somehow the conversation turned to nature and the spiritual aspects of life. I discovered that this plumber also handcrafts and hunts with bow and arrows, can start a fire with flint and practices various martial arts and forms of shamanism. Our conversation left me with alot of ideas to consider.

The interesting thing is that before he arrived I'd just read this sentence in a book I'm working with - "When the student is ready, the teacher will arrive."
